In Search of A Cheap Car

In my recent search for a cheap car,  I thought my choices were limited to used car lots and newspaper classified ads. However, I discovered that are actually about twenty ways to find good cheap cars. With the help of the Internet, I found some unlikely sources. I'll tell you about them here. Some may be obvious to you, others may not.

I'm a little anal when it comes to buying stuff, especially stuff that costs me more than a week's salary. I'm also a bit over-cautious. I don't like making stupid mistakes. I also try to look at all the choices I have, in detail, before making a decision. My wife says I over-analyze things. She's right, but it makes me happy.

Finding cheap cars is kind of like a treasure hunt. You have to know where to look and what to look for. When you find what you're looking for, you have to make sure it is what it appears to be and that it is worth the money you'll pay. Used cars can have expensive hidden problems that can be avoided if you take care in your search process. Making the right choice can save your money and get you a car that will give you cheap and reliable service for many years.
